Questions from Nicole Eloise:
1- What is your self care routine?
E – I always spare some time for myself, I have a face care routine and I spend some time writing down any worries I have before I go to bed to clear my mind.
J – I always tell myself to stop eating when I’m full, to sleep when I’m tired and I wash my face every morning and night to feel refreshed…. and that’s pretty much it.
2- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
E – There are so many places, it’s hard choose. I’d say right now I’d choose somewhere in France as it’s always felt a little like home to me when I’m there.
J – hmm this is such a hard one! I think possibly San Diego! I like the culture, the ambience, the laid back and chilled out vibe plus it has a beach and amazing weather.
3- What music do you listen to when you’re feeling down?
E – I’m quite bad for listening to sad music when I’m feeling down but I’ll quickly put on something more upbeat when I’ve had my low moment.
J – Sometimes when I’m really down I’ll listen to really slow love songs but if I’m trying to snap out of the mood I’ll always play ‘Chris Brown – Forever’ and it instantly has me dancing and forgetting my troubles!
4- If you could say one thing to your younger self, what would it be?
E – Believe in yourself.
J – Don’t carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
5- How do you manage stress?
E – Sometimes not well. But, I am learning. If I’m stressed it’s often due to being overwhelmed so I’ll make a list of everything that’s going on and prioritise things, organise what I need to do, what can be handled straight away to eliviate some stress and try to keep being positive. If it’s something else then talking to someone always helps (hey Jessica) and taking some time to forget about it and chill is always good.
J – Can anybody actually manage stress 100% of the time? I don’t think so! I try to mitigate against it by planning ahead and being proactive and organised, but if it’s something to do with family then I find just talking through the problems with Eleanor really helps!
6- Three things that you could not live without?
E – Can I say my dog? Is that a thing? Definitely Books (Is that cheating?) and probably my phone, which sounds terrible, but in my defence it is my one way of being able to catch up with family members who live far away, it contains years of photo’s and I can listen to music whenever, something I love.
J – This is tough! My passport, I love travelling! My dog, he is my baby and I guess I should say my boyfriend at this point?
7- What is your favourite memory ever?
E – Oh god, there are so many. One of my favourites has to be the day we found out we’d been approved to adopt my sister. I got pulled out of my class by the headteacher and I remember it being the first time I cried happy tears.
J – There’s so many! I have two that come to mind straight away; the first is the day I picked my keys up for my first house and the feeling I got when unlocking the front door and the second is the day my lil sis was brought home from the hospital and I rocked her to sleep.
8- What is your favourite beauty/makeup product?
E – I’m a bit behind with the whole make-up thing, but if I’m going somewhere I always put eyeliner on.
J – I’m a natural face kinda gal. I wear make up on the occasional night out so I would say eyeshadow is my favourite, the urban decay eye palette always comes in handy.
9- Can you name one trend that you wish would go away?
E – This is tough. I guess I don’t get those jeans that are literally missing the majority of it’s material, not ripped ones but the ones with huge holes. They must be a nightmare to put on.
J – Wide leg trousers.
10- How do you try and bring positivity to your life and to others’ every day?
E – I always tell myself that if I’m in a bit of a negative mindset to look at things in a different perspective and find the positive.
J – Everyday is a new day and you have to grab life by the balls! You get one life, so take control and make it what you want it to be.
11- What is your biggest goal for 2018?
E – I guess it’s graduate my Masters and get a job.
J – To pay off all my debts and to treat myself to a new car.
